Small Spaces, Big impact

Decorating small spaces is often overlooked when re-decorating is considered.  It is far easier to make grand plans for larger areas, such as living and dining rooms, kitchens and bedrooms.  But when it comes to smaller spaces like the laundry room, a half bathroom or even hallways, we often tend to go for "safe" colors or decorations.
Consider a bold border, or mural, or dramatic color for these areas.  You'll be surprised at how much of a difference it makes, and just how many compliments you will get from your visitors!
A short passage can be made to look much longer with a mural at the end of it, and a small half bath could be a wonderful retreat with the right effects.  For examples check out our website under the tab "Artistic Effects" for some ideas.
The latest in fashion for wall color is not to have all the walls in the same room the same color.  One wall could be painted in an accent color, and thus bring style to a room that cannot be disputed.
Or else, to make a room look bigger, paint the ceiling a pale blue, instead of the usual white.
We are passionate about painting, and every day we find new and exciting ideas to make your home or your business look beautiful.  Happy decorating in 2012!
